Large Oil on Canvas animal portraits!
For small rodents, cats, rabbits and small breeds of dogs!
These portraits have a specific focus on atmosphere. I reflect these through vivid colours and soft light. My art has always been inspired by classic impressionism - a particular focus on unrealistic colours. I decided to implement my favourite soft focus technique, hence it gives some realism. I decided to keep the scenery for context and atmosphere - yet fairly blurred, not to distract the viewer from the subject.
I use photos as references, so choose the one you'd love the most, or the one that contains you animal's favourite treat. I offer these portraits in three sizes: A6 (10.5 x 14.8 cm, smaller), A5 (14.8 × 21 cm, larger) and Square (15x15cm, a middle ground).
These portraits are perfect for display, memory boxes and gifts to an animal lover. I expect the portrait to be painted in around 6-12 weeks due to weeks of drying time for oil. Comes with the certificate of Authenticity and Care & Preservation Guide.
