About the Artwork: This artwork was inspired by TJ (Twitchy Junior) rescued by Charlie’s Hamster Rescue in September 2026. TJ has neurological issues that make him constantly run in circles. It usually happens due to genetics, ear infections or inappropriate housing conditions. In this art Twitchy Jr. is standing outside his cozy house with a basket of mushrooms. Perhaps, he came back from mushroom gathering in the forest that's behind. The piece is about autumn warmth as  TJ finally found his cozy home, full of light and enrichment.

The Mission: Red Mushroom collection was made to support Charlie's Hamster Rescue as they often rescue hamsters from desperate situations and we love that they share their journey online. If you'd like to make a donation directly to the rescue to support hamsters in need, their instagram is: @charlie_rescues_hamsters.
